WELCOME!

Our district is very excited to introduce this webpage to all of our staff and students participating in the 2012-2013 science fair.  We hope it will help you as you prepare for science fair this year!  Follow all of the links to find the information you need to succeed!

This website will help you to:
1.  Choose a project - how to get started
2.  Register your project on the "science-fair-in-a-box" website
3.  Choose between the 3 types of projects
4.  How to make a science fair projects  - what do I need to have done?
5.  Plan your project wisely by:
     a) Looking at how you will be judged before you start (see rubrics - competitive, non-
         competitive
)
     b) Looking at the awards that you can win - competitive, non-competitive
     c) Making sure you have filled out all of the appropriate forms (when working with 
          Humans, Animals, DNA, and/or Explosives) - see safety/ethics forms
6.  Know what to expect when you get to the science fair - see agenda (C, NC)
7.  Learn how to run a school science fair
8.  Promote science fair at your school
9.  And MANY other things!
